Fertilizers and products that are labeled “plant food” are soil additives that contain lots of nutrients.
Plant fertilizers are a combination of macronutrients, micronutrients, fillers and ballast.
Which we know as NPK or “The Big 3”
Growth Hormones like Auxins inform plants when to form roots. Rooting hormone products which are commonly sold in powder, liquid and gel form, contain natural auxins or synthetic compounds, which can be applied to cuttings to stimulate root growth during propagation.
I personally like to rotate my fertilizers which means I use more than one.
Slow Release Stakes
The Plant food stakes are a slow release fertilizer that releases its beneficial nutrients by every watering. NPK 6-12-6.
